Croft House is a Los Angeles manufacturer and retailer of handmade furniture and commercial fixtures. The company builds its own product: "By building in-house, we are able to focus on quality at every stage of production, using hand selected, natural materials to create timeless design and modern heirlooms," describing the model as "locally handmade, single-batch production." That claim holds up outside their own marketing — Remodelista reports founder Riley Rea, who started in 2009 making furniture in a garage on the corner of Croft and Clinton Avenues in West Hollywood (the source of the name), now runs a downtown LA workshop with business partner Alex Segal while selling from a showroom on La Brea Avenue.
The catalog is broad: beds, benches, cabinetry, coffee tables, consoles, desks, dining chairs and tables, dressers, lounge chairs, mirrors, nightstands, outdoor, shelving, side tables and sofas. Materials span oak, walnut, ash, maple and burl wood alongside stone, fabric, structural and upholstery leather, and steel. A personalization program and custom gallery are published, and the company runs a trade program for designers.
The showroom sits at 326 North La Brea Avenue and is open Monday through Friday, 9:30–5:30; appointments are optional. The workshop address is not separately published.
